This system of confidential marketing requires us to advertise the sale of your business on our website as well as more than a dozen other websites using general information only. Interested buyers will then contact our business brokers if they would like more information, at which point potential buyers are required to sign a confidentiality agreement. Once the agreement is signed, we will provide them with more information about your specific business. Marketing your business in this way allows us to both find you a buyer and protect your privacy at the same time. 
  • Buyer Screening: Our business brokers pre-screen all potential buyers before we present them to you. This is another way that we work to ensure your protection. We will make sure that all buyers are properly vetted and are sincerely interested in purchasing your business before connecting them with you. This both protects your privacy and prevents you from wasting time negotiating with a buyer that is not capable of purchasing your business. 
  • Facilitation of Negotiations: Once your potential buyer has been screened and meets Morgan & Westfield’s standards, negotiations will begin. Our business brokers will advise you on negotiation techniques and be there to support you throughout the entire negotiation process. We understand that negotiations can be stressful and emotions can run high. So we work to ease this process and make it as simple as possible, increasing the chances that a deal will be reached. 
  • Assistance with Paperwork: When selling a business, you will be required to complete a great deal of paperwork. Contracts must be created and signed, property needs to be transferred, and all financing documentation must be completed. At Morgan & Westfield, we understand that the paperwork involved in selling a business can be overwhelming. Our business brokers will assist you with completing and filing all of the necessary documentation to finalize the sale of your business.
